Scripture Camp

Kaden Joined in the games after a little while and then really enjoyed it.
Savannah had lots of fun and kept saying "I want to do it again".
Addison trying to join the fun!
This was at the end of the day. He was so tired and had a huge melt down. I had to capture the moment :)

Our ward does scripture camp for all the primary kids every year. Last year savannah was the only one old enough to go, but this year kaden was able to join her. They had so much fun together this year. Savannah was the yellow team called "Knights of Samaria" and Kaden was the orange team called "David's Warriors". At the end of each day they were able to yell out their team chant. They went Mon-Thurs and learned so much about the scriptures and our Heavenly Father. I am so grateful for the primary presidency and all their effort put into this activity.

On Wednesday the kids came home with their own book of mormon and a bag to hold them in. Kaden thought this was so cool. The minute we got home he said mommy can you read my book of mormon, please! Of course I was so hot and trying to lug in all the kids from the car, so it wasn't really what I wanted to do at the time. I had to nurse brooklyn so he followed me in the house to the couch and was still very persistent in me reading his book. As I was sitting there next to him I realized that I could not hold back him learning the teachings of our Heavenly Father and I was so happy that he wanted me to read the book of mormon to him and I never knew when he would ever ask me to read the book to him in the future. I then read him about 7 versus and summarized it to his understanding and suprisingly he really enjoyed it and was trying to understand. I learned to take advantage of these precious and priceless moments.

Liz...I was showing Jarom the pics of Kaden and I said "Kaden got a book of mormon too and wanted his mommy to read it to him. Do you want me to read yours to you?" Where as Jacob AND Jarom shouted"No" in unison.
OK.
Serena is the bomb.
We should pass around a thank you card at church...
