I can hardly believe that it's been 4 years since I had my sweet baby boy. Kaden had his Birthday on July 27th and it feels like yesterday that I was holding him in the hospital. I felt so blessed and full of love and joy knowing that he was mine for all eternity. I as still so happy and love him more than ever. He brings so much life, laughter and love to our family. I could never imagine my life without him. He's still my little man, but growing up so quickly. I am sad to see the years fly by but I know we will have wonderful new memories with him. Mommy and Daddy love you sooooooo much kaden. We hope you had a great Birthday!

Graduation Day!
WOW! We are so excited for Louiss' big accomplishment. It took him a little longer than we had anticipated due to 4 kids, full time job and church callings but he stuck in there and we finally did it, it was hard but all worth it! I am so proud of him and all his hard work and I am so glad it's over. It definitely took a toll on the family. Louis actually was done with his last class in February but his actual walk day was this last saturday. Now it's on to his Master's Degree, I don't know if I am ready yet!:) I guess the sooner the better.

Visiting my friend Jodie and the very sad event...
My long time friend Jodie lives in Colorado Springs, CO. She came out to Cali about 1 1/2 weeks ago to visit her family and friends. So I decided to drive out to Hacienda Heights (her parents house) with the kids and have a fun filled day with her and the kids. The kids swam in their spa which is so big the kids consider it a pool, we ate lunch had peanut butter and marshmallow rice crispies and just talked about old times together. It was a blast. Savannah made friends with her daughter Taylor and had such a fun time playing with her asked to go back to her house the very next morning we got home. Kaden and Addie fell in love with Nonnie which is what all the grandkids call Jodies mom and now my kids see her as their nonnie too. Kaden also enjoyed playing trains with Mason, well that's only when Mason decided to take a break from the spa. he was so cute! We were actually having such a good time I kept forgetting to take pictures. And then it happened...
Jodies son Mason who is almost 2 1/2 yrs old fell back into the fireplace. We both rushed over hoping it would only be a bump. I picked him up to help him into Jodies arms and felt something wet on my fingers, thinking it was only water since he was wet from the spa, I looked down to see lots of blood on my hand. I then looked up and poor Mason was covered in blood. Our day then came to a close with a trip to Urgent care and 3 staples in little masons head. We still had a great day and loved visiting with everyone.
I am catching up on a few postings since life has been busy, check out my other posting below...

Roasted Corn and Family...
About 2 1/2 weeks ago we had Louiss' parents over for dinner. Well I never told Louis until he got home from work that I invited them over. He asked what are we having and I said "I didn't know yet, probably just whatever we have here at the house" he then said" well I will go to the store and get some corn. Right then I knew he had to show off his new Roasted corn recipe with his parents. He is so funny! Needless to say we had a great night and of course the kids had to show Grandma and Papa their new pool that they love so much. We played baseball in the backyard ,jumped on the trampoline while eating seconds on the fabulous corn, swam in the pool and enjoyed eachothers company. :) I love summer evenings!

4th of July, Fun in the Sun!
On the 4th of July we went over to my mom's house and had a blast. I knew we needed to get in some water and cool down. I also wanted my kids to get used to the water because they are still scared to go swimming and they would of never let me let go of them. Well they finally did it! They did have life vests on but they were able to trust us that they would not drown. I felt so relieved and I was able to have fun myself. Savannah and I swam together and really had a fun time-I feel like we really bonded together. Kaden was really brave, he started jumping into the pool and he kept wanting to jump from a higher point every time. Addison was just happy to be in the water with someone holding her. We definitely kept cool.:) After the pool we went on to watch fireworks at a park in Ontario. The kids loved it. It was an awesome fireworks show.

My friends threw a baby shower for me about 2 weeks ago. It was so much fun. I got a lot of nice and well needed gifts. One of those gifts was this adorable headband for brooklyn. I needed hair things for her so bad. She is always bald and I love these huge flowery hearbands. I need to get more :) Anyways, doesn't she look so cute and girly. I just love these pictures of her. Okay, sorry I am her mom I get to obsess over her.
